Worker's Compensation

If you are injured on the job, your employer is required to provide medical care for you and compensate you for a percentage of your lost wages if you are unable to return to work. Additionally, if you have a permanent impairment as a result of the on-the-job injury, you are entitled to compensation for that impairment.

Sometimes there are disputes regarding pre-existing injuries, and the insurance company can deny that your injury is due to the work accident. Alternatively, there can be disputes about whether you have a permanent impairment, or the degree of impairment that you have. There are also some situations where you can choose to settle your case for the value of your future medical bills to get a lump sum payment now, rather than be tied to the employer for your future medical care forever.

If you need assistance with any of these types of worker's compensation issues, please contact our office where we will discuss your case and how we can help.
